London Fire Brigade (LFB) is London’s Fire and Rescue Service – one of the largest firefighting and rescue organisations in the world. We are here to make London a safer city.

We employ over 5,500 people, across our operational team (our firefighters), control (our call handlers who answer your 999 calls) and our non-operational team (our teams who work behind the scenes to support our front-line services, including HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Communications etc.).

LFB is seeking a highly capable Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead and develop our Business Analytics function within the Performance, Improvement & Business Intelligence department.

This is a senior analytical role within a growing team focused on enhancing the Brigade’s data capabilities and supporting better decision-making across the organisation. You will manage and support a team of BI Analysts, take ownership of the publication and visualisation of performance data, and lead on the analysis of key datasets that help the Brigade understand and improve its services.

You will also be responsible for external reporting to key stakeholders including the Home Office, His Majesty’s Inspectorate (HMICFRS) and the Greater London Authority. The role involves advising senior stakeholders, ensuring data quality standards are maintained, and contributing to key transformation projects. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with deep technical proficiency in data management, querying and visualisation.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on service delivery and community outcomes across London.

This post requires in-person attendance at LFB HQ or fire stations at least two days per week.

Further information about the main duties and responsibilities of the role are detailed in the job description. If you are unable to see the job description, salary range or the full advert, please visit our jobs pages at https://jobs.london-fire.gov.uk/alljobs/ to access the full advert.
