Salary range: £34,215.00 - £41,075.00 per annum

Working pattern: Full-time (Flexibility to work some weekends/overtime)

The Outreach team aim to raise awareness of careers in the fire service to all sections of the community, (particularly those who are under-represented in our workforce), to attract the very best people, with the best skills and behaviours to join the organisation.

This role primarily includes planning outreach activities and managing email public enquires. You will need strong administrative and organisational skills to manage multiple processes, spreadsheets and keep information updated. Good customer care skills and confidence engaging with the public is also a requirement, as you will have the opportunity to attend community recruitment events to promote careers in the fire service

This role requires:
• Excellent organisation and resilience to manage a demanding workload and be flexible around changing priorities.
• Good interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with members of the organisation, public, and external partners.
• Experience using Microsoft office suite.
• Someone who understands the importance of equity, diversity and inclusion within an organisation and when engaging with the community.

Assessment Overview

Stage 1
