An exciting opportunity has arisen at the London Fire Brigade for a Network Engineer.
As an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. You will work closely with senior network engineers and users to ensure the smooth operation of our data, voice, and wireless systems. Key duties include monitoring network performance, rectifying faults, installing network devices, and planning equipment replacements.

Assessment Overview
Stage 1
To apply, please complete the online application, upload a copy of your up-to-date CV and provide evidence to address the following selection criteria:
1. Experience of Data, Voice, and Wireless systems; experience in the support of major networks for a large multi-site organisation, preferably in a 24 x 7 x 365 industry and based on Cisco products and Atos/Mitel telephony.
2. Practical knowledge on the Microsoft suite of applications, e.g. Word, Excel, Visio.
3. Written and oral communication skills to liaise with Senior Network Engineers and users
4. Knowledge of current developments in the IT industry, particularly those relating to voice, data, and wireless networks.
