An exciting opportunity has arisen at the London Fire Brigade for an Infrastructure Compliance & Support Analyst.

An Infrastructure Compliance and Support Analyst is required to support the Brigades server environment, ensuring the server and client infrastructure is fully supported, modern and compliant to Cyber Essentials standards.

Successful candidates should have experience in the following technical subject matters:

• Hypervisor Platforms - Microsoft & VMware
• Current Microsoft Server Operating Systems
• Microsoft System Center Suite of products
• Microsoft Active Directory Services
• Infrastructure Security Products
• Microsoft Exchange
• HP and Dell Hardware (Servers)
• Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation
• Backup and Recovery tools
• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft O365

Assessment Overview

Stage 1

1. Experience of supporting, developing and maintaining a server environment in a large multi-user organisation with experience of at least 4 of the following:
• Hypervisor Platforms - Microsoft & VMware
• Current Microsoft Server Operating Systems
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
• Microsoft System Operations Manager
• Microsoft Active Directory Services
• Infrastructure Security Products
• Microsoft Exchange 2016 & above
• HP and Dell Hardware (Servers)
• Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation
• Cloud Technology (Azure/O365)

2. In depth, demonstrable experience of implementing infrastructure changes in a Microsoft Server environment of a similar sized company. (6000+ user base)

3. Experience of supporting servers in an on-premises and cloud based mixed environment.
