Secondment opportunity for substantive Firefighters
During 2019 we will be introducing a programme of annual physical fitness testing for all operational staff at Firefighter to Watch Manager level who are based at fire stations. The intention moving forward is also to extend this annual fitness testing to all operational roles from SM above.
To help with the implementation of this initiative we are looking to second 2 (two) Firefighters to the Fitness Advice Team based at Paddington fire station.
The role responsibilities will revolve primarily around administering the new fire ground drill test that LFB has developed in conjunction with the NFCC.

All candidates will then be invited to attend an interview.
All applicants should be aware that the secondment will be offered on a 9 day fortnight basis and the successful candidates remunerated at Crew Manager level.
The secondment will be for an initial twelve (12) month basis with a review thereafter.
