An opportunity has become available to join the Grenfell Tower Investigation and Review team (GTIRT) in the role of Admin Supervisor.

You will be responsible for providing administrative support across the work streams whilst supervising the core admin team, delivering to strict deadlines.

The successful candidate will assist the Investigation Support Manager in delivering project arrangements efficiently and effectively to ensure actions and issues are dealt with promptly.

GTIRT's key objective is to review the Brigade's response to the fire and the actions and decisions taken up until the final stop message was sent at 1345 on 27 June. This is in order to produce a timeline of events which will identify any operational learning points. The Brigade's health and safety investigation into our operations on the night is also part of the scope of GTIRT's work.

This is the biggest investigation ever undertaken by the Brigade and alongside the internal review into our response, GTIRT is supporting the Metropolitan Police investigation into the fire and preparing the Brigade to support the Public Inquiry into the circumstances around the incident.

Assessment Overview

Selection Criteria 1 - Experience of assisting in the co-ordination and management of work streams in order to achieve organisational objectives.

Selection Criteria 2 - Experience of organising, planning and prioritising work and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Selection Criteria 3 - The ability to manage workloads and to prioritise effectively and to identify and address changing and conflicting priorities whilst meeting deadlines.

Selection Criteria 4 - An understanding of the reasons for the need to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security of data and other sensitive material, and how this can be achieved in an office environment.
